Usually, when a change of any kind comes along, the first thing we do is panic and we imagine every disaster scenario known to man. Is this something you can relate to? If the answer is yes, you’re not alone. Most people react this way – and it’s just a downward spiral from there. We become an attractive field for problems and missed opportunities, and we start to be the person for whom everything starts to go wrong and everything’s bad.

The number one rule in spiritual training is, “Don’t panic” – because whatever is going on, there will be a way in or through or around the change that we experience. The times when the challenge is the biggest is the best time for mental mastery because that’s what’s going to pull you through.
